Animal Chiropractic Care

Dr. Ethan James has a lifelong passion for animal health and performance. Raised on a farm in rural Kansas, his appreciation for proper movement, soundness, and overall animal well-being began at an early age. Throughout his youth and college years, he raised and showed livestock at a competitive level and competed on livestock judging teams at Butler Community College and Kansas State University. This hands-on experience provided him with a deep understanding of animal structure, biomechanics, and performance.

After graduating from Cleveland University–Kansas City, Dr. Ethan moved to Baldwin City in 2017 and opened Elite Chiropractic, with the long-term goal of expanding into animal chiropractic care. His background in chiropractic medicine, combined with years of livestock evaluation and handling, allows him to deliver safe, precise, and effective adjustments tailored to each animal’s specific needs.

Dr. Ethan provides animal chiropractic care for a variety of animals, including horses, dogs, goats, and other livestock, helping support mobility, comfort, and performance. Whether working with performance animals, working animals, or beloved companions, his goal is to help animals move better and feel their best.

When he’s not working with animals or patients, Dr. Ethan enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie, and their sons, Carson and Kohen, staying active outdoors, and remaining involved in the local community.
